In film and broadcasting, a sound bite is a very short piece of a speech taken from a longer interview in which someone says something which is considered to be the most important point.
But to this media cow, this simply meant a catchy soundclip, be it appalling or appealing, or any lifechanging remark I've encountered that can simply translate into something remarkable.
